Filiz Ozmisir is a performance-driven healthcare professional with over ten years of regional and international experience in clinical and research fields. Passionate about community giving and women's health, she excels in crafting and implementing strategies for unprecedented outcomes.

Filiz is advancing towards achieving a Doctor of Medicine degree from Windsor University School of Medicine, expected to be awarded in 2024. She has earned a Master's degree in Family Practice Nursing from the University of Toronto, focusing on global health and women's health. Additionally, she holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Toronto, where she received the prestigious 2016 MPP Fellowship Award. Her educational journey includes studying International Development at Sciences Po University in Paris and earning Bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Psychology.

With an extensive work history, Filiz has served as a Lecturer at the University of Toronto, teaching graduate-level courses on the Social Context of Policy Making. She has also worked as a Public Policy Researcher at the Ontario Ministry of Health, contributing to developing regulatory policies for healthcare professionals.

Filiz is the Founder and CEO of Refugee Girls Worldwide, a global charitable NGO. Leading a team of executives, she creates strategies and ensures operational efficiency. She successfully fundraises for programs that advance women's and girls' health and education in countries such as Turkiye, Ukraine, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

Filiz's dedication to improving healthcare and empowering communities is evident throughout her career, making her a valuable asset in driving positive change.
